Bios

• Scott Groper

  DVM

  Dr. Scott Groper received his DVM from Tufts Veterinary School in 1994, and is a graduate of Harvard College. After graduating from Tufts, he completed an internship in medicine and surgery at Angell Memorial Animal Hospital in Boston, MA. He has been on staff at VCA Brookline Animal Hospital since 1995 and is currently Medical Director. An accredited veterinarian with the USDA, Dr. Groper is also a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association.

• Lori Feldman

  DVM

  Dr. Lori H. Feldman, who grew up in Connecticut, is a graduate of Tufts University and its School of Veterinary Medicine, class of 1995. Before joining the team at VCA Brookline Animal Hospital as a medical director, she worked at VCA Wakefield Animal Hospital for several years before moving to New York City. There, Dr. Feldman was a staff veterinarian at a six-doctor practice on the upper east side of Manhattan, where she concentrated on surgical procedures, ultrasonography, and client education. She also worked at a private practice in Greenwich, CT for two years prior to re-joining the VCA family. An accredited veterinarian with the USDA, Dr. Feldman is also currently licensed in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New York.

• Deborah Bean

  DVM

  Dr. Bean re-joined the team at VCA Brookline Animal Hospital in 2009 after taking some time to start her family. Dr. Bean graduated with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Tufts University in 2004 and began working at VCA Brookline Animal Hospital shortly after graduation. She lives locally with her husband, their two children, several cats, and a dog, Violet.

• David Tubman

  DVM

  A native of Framingham, MA, Dr. Tubman studied Molecular Biology as an undergradute at the University of Michigan and holds a Masters Degree in public health from Harvard University. . After working in research, he attended Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University. He graduated from Tufts in 2005 and then completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the Georgia Veterinary Specialists in Atlanta, GA. He went on to practice small animal emergency medicine in Maryland before moving back to MA, where he has been in general practice since 2008. Dr Tubman joined Brookline Animal Hospital in the spring of 2012. He is an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the American Association of Feline Practicioners. He lives locally with his wife, two cats, and two dogs.
